It’s the start of November and our pick of the month is The Lemon Twigs! Recently got to catch them open for the Arctic Monkeys and I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed their set. It was energetic, fun and they played a show of their own! By the time they were done I couldn’t remember if I was there to see them or the Arctic Monkeys. They are fantastic live… if and when you can catch them live, make sure to because you will not regret it.

Our featured artist for the month of November is the somewhat new, but quickly rising Airways. Having the chance to see them open up for Nothing But Thieves recently, I knew right away they were a band that you'd have to follow along. Fun, quirky, and catchy lyrics with similarities in sound from Arctic Monkeys to Cage the Elephant, they are sure to get you humming along and bobbing your head. They've got a fun yet relaxing vibe to them, so you can have their tunes playing any time of day.

Make sure to catch them on tour when they're around as well. They put on a great show, and let's be honest... who doesn't love attending a good show.?

GET THEIR DEBUT ALBUM A/B OUT NOW!

The sound, the emotion, the heart; it's all there when listening to Kaleo. Each song carries such feeling in a way that is not easily described, but immediately felt upon listening to. Jökull Júlíusson(singer) has such a raw and textured voice that gives it's own signature to their raw authentic rock type vibe. They give you such a feeling that transports you away into the depths of what I feel is my own serenity in my mind. I'm thankful that they are out there creating their own real soulful music. Make sure to have a listen to their album entirely (at least a couple times) and let me know what you love about their sound. Also, what song do you love the most? I personally love the song that's in their native language titled "Vor í Vaglaskógi", it's got such a beautiful tone and I just love the Icelandic language.
