Featured Artist: Miniature Tigers
This month Iβve got yet another great featured artist pick for youβ¦ they are a Brooklyn-based band by the name of, Miniature Tigers. In 2006 the group started out as a solo project for singer Charlie Brand in Phoenix, Arizona. After some time and hard-work Miniature Tigers moved from Phoenix to Brooklyn and started experimenting more with their music.
Fast forward and here we are in 2019 and theyβve recently released a new single titled, Manic Upswings. Check it out and make sure to also have a listen to all of their other tunes. Make sure to keep and ear out for their upcoming album βVampires in The Daylightβ out October 11th!

Our September pick is nothing but good sounds despite their name. Bad Sounds are full of funky tunes that seep in and stay in your head for days on end. They've even just put out their full first album "Get Better" that is from start to finish fantastic. You have to give it a listen asap if you haven't already... so good.

Our featured artist for September are the LA based indie folk band, Lord Huron. I've only recently discovered them and I'm mad I hadn't sooner. They're songs tell such visual stories and really transport you, which is one of my favourite bits when listening to them. I love bands that have a folky aspect, and over the last few years have learned to appreciate them more and more. There's such a free and honest spirit that pulls you in and intrigues you the more you listen. Lord Huron are a really great band, and I hope you find that something about them that brings you back to listening to them over and over.
