Luke Spiller Album Listening Party Review “Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes and Wine” at The Sun Rose in West Hollywood
Wednesday the 23rd of April I got to attend Luke Spiller’s solo album listening party at The Rose Room in West Hollywood.
Such a small and quaint venue with a capacity of 125 people, it was beautiful venue to host at. Starting the night a bit rocky though as there seemed to be a bit of confusion with management, on fan to industry attendance thus creating a snag in the energy of the night. Thankfully it all seemed to work out as the room was filled with plenty of people excited to glimpse the album, as well as hear a Q&A hosted by Lyndsey Parker, as well as a beautiful performance from Luke Spiller directly after.
We were given a performance of 6 songs Devil In Me, The Ending Is Always The Same, If This Isn’t Love, I’m With Her, California as well as Love Will Probably Kill Me with Nick Perri on guitar and Jon Levine on piano beside him. It was an energetic and beautiful performance as Luke has just one of the most incredible voices around and seeing the way he enjoys performing is enough to bring a smile to any face.
Whether listening to his new album “Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes and Wine” at home or in the car or catching him performing these songs live, you’ll be happy to hear he sounds exactly the same, which is so special.
The album is beautiful and intimate and gives such insight on who Luke Spiller is.
Overall the listening party was a wonderful and special evening and I’m grateful to have been apart of celebrating his newest release.
If you haven’t already, please check out the album which is out now!
