Night Riots at El Rey
Night Riots stopped by the El Rey in Los Angeles last Saturday and put on one heck of a show! They really know how to rock a house. Opening for them was Courtship and Silent Rival. Check out some photos below...
Weathers and Stray Monroe at the Parish Room

The Kooks and The Academic at The Wiltern
A couple weeks ago The Kooks played The Wiltern in Los Angeles and it was incredible! The Academic opened for them and throughout both sets, the crowd was into it all. They sang and danced and enjoyed every moment of both performances. The show from start to finish had such a wonderful energy that I haven't experienced in quite a while at a gig. Both bands are one you absolutely have to see live!
Hope you enjoy some of the photos from the show
The Adicts!!
Hearing the news about a day or so before all of the NAMM festivities, it was said that The Adicts were doing a special performance for Schecter Guitar Research at The Grove of Anaheim. There were two ways to get in and one was to donate to the Take Me Home Animal Rescue and the other was to win. We donated and received our tickets to see what turned out to be one of the best shows I've been to.
There were 2 openers with the first one being Nick Johnston. The set was fully instrumental with a bass player and drummer joining him on stage, but he and his guitar were the main focus. Let me tell you... he was INCREDIBLE!! The whole set I was in awe hearing him play. Here's a link to his youtube so you can have a listen... Youtube.com/nickjohnstonguitar. Next were the metal band Kyng. If you'd like to have a listen to them, click here
Ah, so now for the main attraction THE ADICTS! From start to finish the whole show was full of fun for your eyes and ears. From props like a light up cape which the singer who goes by 'Monkey' wore to a confetti-filled umbrella, there was so much going on and it was all so fun. I knew the show was going to be enjoyable for the mere fact I was excited to see them, but I truly did not expect to love their performance as much as I did! If you have the opportunity to catch them live at all... please, please take it and go!! You'll have the best time!!
Snapped a few photos of The Adicts with my handy dandy phone, so check those out below...
